Daily Fire & Crime Log

The 麻豆社 Police Department maintains a daily fire and crime log in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). Log entries are intended to provide transparent and timely information about criminal, non-criminal, and fire related incidents reported to campus police. Incidents are to be entered within (2) business days of being reported to campus police. In some cases, there may be a gap between the occurrence of an event and when it was reported.

The College may withhold information from entry if any of the following conditions apply:

- The disclosure is prohibited by law.
- If disclosure would jeopardize the confidentiality of a victim.
- If disclosure would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual.
- If disclosure would cause a suspect to flee or evade detection.
- If disclosure would result in the destruction of evidence.

2025120001	Criminal Trespass/ Theft by Taking/ Battery	4 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro, GA	12/3/2025 12:05 a.m.	12/3/2025 1:49 a.m.	Parent of a female student contacted 麻豆社 PD about an altercation in BCVS between the female student and the female student's ex-boyfriend. The female student would not return the male student's property, causing the altercation. Minor injuries reported. 麻豆社 provided mediation and confirmed that both parties were at fault and would not be in contact with each other anymore.
2025120002	Fire Trouble/ Supervisory Alert	30 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro, GA	12/4/2025 4:40 a.m.	12/4/2025 4:50 a.m.	麻豆社 PD responded to a fire alarm notification in BCVW in apartment 207. There was smoke due to cooking, but no fire or unsafe conditions present.
